A: Our Luxury vacation rental Villas are located on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit, about 20 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. In the exclusive gated AAA Four Diamond Award winning Villa La Estancia Resort & Spa, in Nuevo Vallarta. Guests fly into the Puerto Vallarta airport (code: PVR) on one of several different airlines that serve this area such as Alaska Air, United, and others.
Q: Will I need a passport to vacation in Mexico?
A: Yes, Mexico is a foreign country and a passport is required to enter. The process for obtaining a passport may take more than 30 days, so it is recommended that you begin the application process at least 60 days before you plan to vacation.
Q: How large are the vacation Villas?
a: The Villas at La Estancia feature over 2100 square feet of living space, and sleeps up to 8 people. Optional room styles include 1BR/1BA Suites (sleeps up to 4 people), 1BR/2BA Villas(sleeps up to 4 people), 2BR/3BA Villas (sleeps up to 8 people.) We also accommodate larger groups in your party with access to additional Villas. Contact us for special group rates.
Q: How old are the rental Villas?
A: The custom built Villas were completed in 2008. Our properties are an exquisite private luxury oceanfront Resort & Spa. With creative Mediterranean inspired design and distinguished furnishings that highlight the incredible quality.
Q: How are the Villas rented?
A: There is a minimum rental of 3 days. You will have exclusive use of the Resort & Spa during your stay. Complete and submit the registration form. With your reservation confirmation, you will receive a detailed information packet containing all the information about booking, travel, customs, and suggestions to complete your ultimate vacation experience.
Q: Do you have a fitness center?
A: Yes, the state-of-the-art fitness center has cardiovascular machines, Icarian workout stations, as well as free weight dumbbells, available exclusively for our guests. In addition, you may unwind and relax in the sauna, steam room and whirlpool for total health and wellness.
Q: What does the staff do?
A: The Platinum Concierge service is available 24 hours a day to satisfy your every need promptly and efficiently. The Resort also provides 24 hour security and surveillance for your stay at Villa La Estancia. Groundskeepers work meticulously to provide you the best kept lush gardens throughout the Resort. At the World Class Tatewari Spa, the staff has been expertly trained in treatments and therapies from around the world to refresh, replenish and renew your body, mind, and soul. The resident International Chef has been featured in some of the finest books and magazines for culinary expertise and the ultimate in dining experiences.
Q: How far is it to the beach from the Villas?
A: You’re only foot steps away from feeling the soft sands of our private beach on the famous Banderas Bay. You may access water sports, restaurants and shops from the beach, go horseback riding, or simply enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
Q: Are the Villas air conditioned?
A: The Villas were designed to be efficiently cooled by natural ocean breezes while all the bedrooms are air conditioned, and include high-volume silent ceiling fans. When the sliding doors are opened to receive the cooling breezes, the air conditioning is designed to turn off.
Q: How big are the pools?
A: The Resort has a multi-level pool with waterfalls, grottos, and fountains for your pleasure. With the exclusive swim-up bar/restaurant, there’s no need to leave the pool, so relax and enjoy a delicious lunch with some refreshing drinks while the breathtaking views transform you. The walk-in entrance is convenient, while the shallow-end provides the perfect play area for younger children. There are four hot tubs with varied temperatures for your comfort, and our Villas include a Jacuzzi in the Master Bedroom for your privacy.
Q: What is your policy on children at the Resort?
A: Children are cherished at Villa La Estancia. The Mexican culture is very family-oriented, and the premier staff has extensive experience in caring for younger guests. Baby/Child Care services are available upon request. Included in our Villas are toys and games for children of all ages.
Q: Will my electric shaver or blow dryer work in Mexico?
A: Our electrical current is identical to the United States, and our Villas uses American-style outlets for all your electric devices to function correctly. The Villas have hair dryers, and irons with full size ironing boards for your convenience during your stay.
Q: Can I send and receive email from the Villa?
A: Yes, the vacation Villas have high-speed internet access, and the Resort is Wi-Fi. We also have a business center, and cyber-café available that both provide internet access.
